St. Paul’s school marks golorious centenary with Education Minister Rohit Thakur as Chief Guest.
St. Paul’s school, a beacon of Excellence in education celebrated its momentous centenary year in a grand gala that left and indelible mark on all those in attendance. The highlight of the program, ‘Shatabdi Sangam’ was the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Rohit Thakur, the Honourable Education Minister, the Guest of Honour, Shri Ashish Butail Ji, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Bishop & Chairman Diocese of Amritsar, The Most Revd. Dr. P K Samantaroy who graced the moment with their benign presence.
The program started with customary lamp lighting. The event unfolded with a spectacular cultural program that showcased the immense talent of St. Paul’s students. The audience were treated to a mesmerizing array of performances, including enchanting dances and skits. From 1923 to 2023, India has experienced tremendous development across various fronts and it was beautifully depicted by the play ‘Das Dashak’ staged by the students. The highlight of the program was undoubtedly the soul stirring Qawwali rendetion by the teachers, showcasing their multifaceted talents beyond the classroom. Mr. Rohit Thakur’s address was filled with admiration for the school’s rich heritage and the visionary leadership of its Principal, The Revd. Virendra Pal Singh. His words resonate with all in attendance, reflecting the school’s unwavering dedication to academic excellence and holistic development. Ashish Butail Ji in his address admired the school infrastructure and appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the teachers to make the event a memorable one. In the end the Bishop and Chairman, The Most Revd. Dr. P K Samantaroy offered a heartfelt vote of thanks expressing gratitutde to all those who have been a part of St. Paul’s remarkable journey.
The centenary celebration was a testament to the school’s legacy, a day to be remembered and St. Paul’s community looks forward to the next hundred years of inspiring excellence.
